RECENT CASES & OUTBREAKS

Individual cases occur from time to time across the country, mostly in (but not limited to) high school, college, and military barracks settings.

Between 2013 and 2015, there was a total of 4 meningitis outbreaks, resulting in 2 deaths, in the following states: California, New Jersey, Oregon, and Rhode Island—all occurred on college campuses.
